They're listening!

I often have some funny stories about my students, so I've decided to share them with all of you. Yesterday while discussing Ms. Smith's up coming wedding, one my first graders decides to tell me the latest argument between his parents. I am some what curious and at the same time kind of worried about what is to come out of his little mouth! He starts by telling me that the one thing his parents were arguing about was doing the taxes. He said it with such a serious face and was really concerned that his parents were not going to pay the taxes on time! That opened up a whole class discussion on what parents argue about. Very interesting stuff. If you have school age children, you better watch out, they may tell their teacher everything!!
