On Friday, my students and the rest of the first graders celebrated Sarah's upcoming wedding. The students made her cards, advice books and an advice video. This was a complete surprise for Sarah and she seem to have liked it. One of my student's mother baked a yummy cake that was decorated with a Cinderella like chariot and of course had Sarah's favorite color, green. We had tons of fun! I wanted to share some of the advice that the students gave her, so here it goes:
If you want to have a good marriage, you should...
- "Share your money with Mr. Watson."
- "Pay the taxes on time."
- "Not lie to each other."
- "Take each other out."
- "Respect each other."
These kids sure do know a good foundation to a marriage!
