Change

Our family is going through some changes. I'm preparing to go back to work this fall so I am in the process of interviewing for different schools in the Gaithersburg area. The kids are also getting ready for a big change, day care and possibly Kindergarten. Ricky will be going to day care next fall, still not sure where, it all depends on where I will be teaching. Izzy is getting ready to take the early entrance to kindergarten test in early May. Since she was born about a week and a half after the cut off date, she needs to test in. If she is not ready, she will be going to day care with Ricky. So much change, but all good change for our family.

The kids are changing too. Ricky is in the process of getting potty trained! I actually didn't want to, but he kept taking his diaper off and asking to go to the potty, so I guess he is ready! He is also becoming very funny. He says things that make you laugh out loud and his smile just melts your heart! He has also gone through a growth spurt in the past month. His pants are fitting shorter and shirts are revealing a little tummy! Izzy has changed a lot too. She is now in a girly girl stage. All she wants to wear now are dresses, to brush her hair, put on lip gloss, perfume and lots of jewelry! This is a big change from the jeans and t shirt girl that I am so used to! I do love to see all these changes, but it is just another reminder that they are growing up, way to fast, way to soon:)
