MAJOR Milestone

Izzy has been surprising us with all the learning she has been doing this past school year. She LOVES going to school, as a matter of fact, she was giddy on Monday morning and could not wait to go to school! At school they have been using whiteboards to practice writing other classmate's names. I brought out a whiteboard that I used when I taught and decided I wanted to start teaching her some two letter words (mainly the MCPS Kindergarten words). She already knew how to write "dad," so we added the words "I" and "love" to it. I modeled how to write (forming letter from top to bottom, starting with a capital and ending with a period) the sentence and this is what she came out with. We also practice reading it. She was so proud of herself that she ran upstairs to show her dad!
