It's been a long time since I have posted! I have been busy with the kiddos, finishing up a course I am taking and life in general! Things around the house have been pretty calm for a change, however there are a couple of things that we have experienced in the past month.
Rene
Still working VERY hard on his MBA. The last two weeks have been extremely busy for him with class projects and a BIG final coming up this Saturday. He has been studying A LOT!!!! I am sure God will reward him with a great test score!
Izzy
For the past month we have been working with Izzy on going to the potty. She has been doing good, a few accidents, but overall good! She can't wait for warm weather to be here (me either). She wants to be outside ALL the time. Over the past couple of weeks, Izzy has matured a lot. Whenever she hears her brother crying she runs over and starts trying to make him laugh. It is the cutest thing to see. Ricky loves to see her jump so Izzy will jump until she get a giggle out of him. Every time she sees him, she wants to give him kisses and rub the top of his head!
Her vocabulary continues to improve. We really have to watch what we say now, she repeats EVERY THING! Here are some of her QsOTD:
"Momma, I love chocolate!"
"Mom, you pretty"
" I want to see daddy-o"
" Brother, no hit me!"
" Oh my goodness!"
" Where we going today?" (Can you tell we spend time outside the house a lot?)
Whenever we ask her what time it is:
"Forty-five six"
"Going to the Circus mommy?"
Yes we are going to the Ringling and Brothers circus! Ever since she saw the commercial on t.v she has not stopped asking if we could go. So we are taking our little girl to the circus for the first time!!!! I hope she loves it, we will keep you posted!
Ricky
Ricky is growing FAST! He is going to be six months next week! His meals consist of formula, cereal, fruits and veggies. He eats everything we put in front of him. The poor guy has been suffering from eczema:( It has gotten pretty bad, specially on his legs, arms and tummy. Whenever he get a bath or changes he has to wear socks on his hands because he can't stop scratching! His legs look like he got into a fight with a cat and the cat won:( There is nothing much you could do, but moisturize him a couple times a day. We have also changed his formula and we are praying that he does not develop any food allergies in the future! With all of that, Ricky is such a good baby! He doesn't have many out burst, as long as he is feed and changed, he is ok! He is also sleeping from 6:30ish pm to 6-7 am! That is a HUGE blessing for all of us!
Oh yeah, he also got his first hair cut!!!! Pictures to come!
Me
Well, I have been doing well. I am taking a class on classroom strategies which has been good. It has reminded me of the fun that goes along with teaching! I've been very busy with that and caring for the kids that it has not given me much time to blog! I am READY for the warm weather to come. It feels like this has been the longest winter ever! I hope April warms up soon!
I will try to post some pictures of the kiddos soon! Have a great day!
