Back in the end of March, my father-in-laws' doctors found out that the tumor that they had partially removed was a more aggressive tumor than what they first thought of. We have visited his neurosurgeon, oncologist, and a radiation therapist to map out the best treatments for the next 6 weeks. Both the oncologist and radiation therapist wanted him to start chemo and radiation as soon as possible. For the next six weeks, we will be taking him to radiation treatments everyday and he will be taking chemo in a form of a drug. Please pray that the treatments help and that Ricardo will not suffer too much because of the treatment. We will keep you posted on his progress.
My second pregnancy is going well. It's hard to remember sometimes that I am pregnant and that I need to take care of myself. I am growing faster than with my first pregnancy and that can sometimes be a little discouraging:( Both Rene and I are praying for a healthy pregnancy and that the baby is developing well.
Izzy continues to amaze us each day. She is talking a lot now! The other day, I had to leave and Rene stayed with her. Rene tells me that when she woke up from her nap, she kept asking for me. Her daddy kept telling her that I was not home, but she did not believe him. She kept going around the house saying "mommy, are you?" How cute is that! The other day, I found her with her foot stuck in the floor vent and all she would say was "tuck, mommy!" I wanted to laugh! She is obsess with going outside and playing with mud. The other day we were outside and I had to change her outfit three times! Last week Izzy started music class. She seems to be enjoying a little too much. She is the only girl in the class of about six boys and let's just say that the boys are better behaved than she is! The teacher inside of me flips out every Tuesday because when we go to class and she will NOT stay still! All she wants to do is run around the classroom and dance! Today she learned how to climb into her high chair and sit. It was funny to see her trying to get up with a spoon on one hand and an applesauce container in the other. Here are some pictures of our little lady!
Helping mommy clean out the garage! She was so happy doing this, I hope her willingness to help will continue!
