Update

Yes, we are still here. September has been filled with many, many activities for us. We started off the month by enjoying a week together as a family. We went to the zoo, did our favorite thing (shop) and worked on some house projects. Good news, Izzy's room is finally done. We finished it on her birthday! She has done well with the new room, slept well and has not complained at all.
We celebrated her birthday on the 15th. We did a small birthday party for her that included both of our families and friends. Unfortunately, Izzy was cranky and did not want to cooperate with the festivities. She pretty much wanted to be carried and cried every time we wanted her to do something. We barely got her to eat cake and open presents.

We have been trying a new schedule for the fall. Our days are filled with learning time, we are currently learning to identify body parts, sign language time, reading time and play time of course. I hope that the new schedule works and gives Izzy and I a little bit more structure. Wednesdays are our "outing" day. This is a special day were Izzy and I get to go out and do some fun activities. This Wednesday we went to Butler's Orchard in Germantown. We went with my friend Esther and her two daughters Jordan and Abby. We got to pick a pumpkin and some raspberries. We had a good time. I hope our future outings are as much fun as this one!

Check out our pictures from the birthday party and other events.
