Update

Sorry for not posting for such a LONG time. Life has been very busy at the Najarros household. To start, I am finishing up my last two graduate classes this summer. I defend the digital portfolio to a panel of JHU professors and my classmates this coming Tuesday! I have been working on it for several weeks now and I'm ready to be finished. I will be done with the program is Thursday, but won't get to graduate until next May 2008, weird, I know!

Rene and I have also been busy trying to furnish our home, I didn't realize it was going to be so hard looking for coffee tables, yikes! We are also in the mist of painting some rooms, but I'm glad to announce that our office has been unpacked and put together! Thank you Rene, you're my hero!

Izzy has been crawling, going up the stairs and eating more on her own! Today was the first time that we left her in her children's ministry class. I was a wreck, she however enjoyed it very much! No matter how many times I told myself that I would NEVER have such a hard time leaving my baby in a classroom, I still did. I was so thankful for the ladies serving in her class. They assured me that she would be OK and to enjoy the message. Come to think about it, Rene and I haven't been together in a Sunday worship service in almost nine months. It was nice sitting down without any distractions. Although I kept looking at the paging display that our church uses to page parents. I kept thinking that our number was going to be called any minute. I worried that I did not write her number know properly and they would not be able to figure out who this child belong to. I worried about not remembering the number and not responding to it, but thankfully everything worked out fine. Izzy enjoyed it so much that she will be back next week and mommy won't be worry any more!
