Friends

Today I spent my lunch time with my good friend Julie. Julie and I go way back. We met at the University of Maryland, College Park. I remember my first impression of Julie, she was coming into one of my education classes talking about her summer trip to Europe. She was so happy to be in class and to talk to her friends. We started to talk and see that we had alot in common. We're both Hispanic females with pretty similar family stories.

Julie and our friend Juliet and I became closer throughout our final year in college. The three of us student taught first grade in MCPS and graduated together. Today, while visiting Julie, I saw a picture of the three of us at graduation, what great memories! Spending time with Julie is always a blast, she is always happy and willing to serve you.

Every summer, we get together several times. We usually go to the pool together and sit by the pool and just relax. Well, this year was a little different, Izzy came along for the visit and tore apart Julie's living room! There were magazine papers everywhere! Thankfully, Julie was so gracious and made us feel at ease. I think Izzy enjoyed herself way too much!

I am so thankful for such great friends like Julie and Juliet!
