Due to job security and the current economic times, starting next Monday, I will be adding another job tittle to my current position as "Chief Operating Officer" at the Najarro household . I will be now teaching third grade for MCPS. Excited to go back to teaching, but sad that I am not doing the job that I love the most full time. For the past four years, I have been the "Chief Operating Officer" at the Najarro household. During my tenure at this "job" I have experienced many, many wonderful moments, as well as, moments that were NOT so wonderful:) I have seen my kids grow, we have gotten to do many cool things together, taken many "field trips," helped out others, and got to build wonderful friendships that I will cherish for the rest of my life. When I first started my "COO," I didn't really know if I would like it or do well in it. It was completely different than what I had always done in the past. With the help of my wonderful husband and some great friends, I adjusted just fine:) In the beginning, Izzy and I had our routine that we stuck to and it benefited us both. As she got older, we were able to do many fun things together and with our beloved playgroup. *A note on the playgroup-A true godsend! Love you all and will miss our regular times together. * When Ricky was born, it added another level of complexity, but at the end it all worked out well! Once Ricky turned one, we were able to start doing outings again and we made some awesome memories. We took trips to the National Zoo, the museums, parks, lakes and many more fun places. Boy, I am going to miss doing this job full time! I have also come away from this job knowing how to do many new things. During my time as "COO" I learned to cook (better, lol), sew, grocery shop with screaming or now a days, fighting children, how to clean a house 100 times a day and my ultimate favorite...how to do multiple loads of laundry everyday of the week:)
A special thanks to my husband for all the support and love that he has provided these past four years. Love, I could not have taken this "COO" job if it wasn't for your willingness to support us financially, thank you! Thank you for encouraging me to try new things and for ALWAYS believing in me.
To my kids, thank you for teaching momma so many things! I am the woman I am today partly because of you. I will cherish the times we have spent and will treasure them for ever. I look forward to creating new memories and adventures with you guys. I know daycare will be fun and I can't wait to hear all your stories! I love you two more than words can tell!
Here is a look at our times through the last four years, hope you enjoy!
