My Crazy Day!!!

Yesterday was a CRAZY DAY!!!! Our morning went well, we had Amelie and her mommy over for a play date before we headed over to Hill's Gym for open gym time. Kids had a blast swinging, jumping, and bouncing! Around 1:15pm, we headed home for what I thought was going to be a long naptime where I was going to get to clean up my kitchen and rest. Well... THAT did not happen! When I was getting Ricky out of the car when Izzy informs me that the door to our house is locked! I didn't have my keys either! So I think, who has a key to the house? My neighbors and my mother-in-law. But guess what? My neighbors are not home and my mother-in-law is at work in Bethesda! To top it all of, I have a tutoring session that I was supposed to be doing at 2pm! I wait for the little boy that I tutor and his mom to get here so that I can tell her what happen. Thankfully they understood! So I drive down to Bethesda to pick up the spare key, drive back home and prepare myself for a good rest. When I get home, I try the key and it won't work!!! I tried it again just to make sure that it wasn't a mistake, nope, still not working!!! By this time it's already 3pm. I call Rene and he tells me that he is on his way home to see if he can get the keys to work since he doesn't have keys either! By 4pm, I finally head over to my friend Lise's house because I'm tired of being in the cold with the kiddos. My mother-in-law says that a friend of the family's is a locksmith. So we wait for him to get to our house. It takes him about an hour and a half to get one of the doors open. By the time we got in the house it is already 6pm, the kids and I are super tired, hungry and just plain cranky! Thankful that we were able to get in and have learned my lesson, carry my house keys at all times!!! Another fun day at the Najarro Family!
