Grandpa

Last Wednesday, Rene's dad, Ricardo, had his second brain surgery to remove a tumor. He is recovering well and can't wait to get home. On Tuesday night, we all went out to dinner at Mithos, a Greek restaurant near us. Before we went, Ricardo and Izzy spent some time together. I am amazed at the love between grandchild and grandparent! Izzy LOVES her grandpa. Whenever he is around, she only wants to be with him. Grandpa LOVES Izzy so much that there are nights when he doesn't sleep thinking about his little girl. I am so thankful for all of the things that my in-laws do for Izzy and us! We can't wait for grandpa to come home. Please pray that recovery continues to go well and that grandpa and Izzy would be reunited soon!
